Itinerary

Day 1Chandigarh - Shimla

Arrive Shimla Check in to the Hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure, evening enjoy at mall road.Later back to hotel. Overnight saty at hotel in Shimla.

After breakfast visit to half day city tour visiting Indian Institute Of Advanced Studies, Sankat Mochan Temple and Jakhu temple, Afternoon visit to excursion tour of Kufri

KUFRI: India’s one of the best holiday paradise Kufri in Shimla is beautifully tucked on an altitude of 2,622 meter. The place is a tourist hotspot for its awesome scenic and sports activities. Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town –“THE MALL & THE RIDGE” This large open space in the heart of town presents excellent views of the mountain ranges. Shimla’s landmarks – the neo- gothic structure of Christ Church and the neo – Tudor library building – are worth seeing. Overnight stay at Shimla.( GREEN VALLEY, WILD FLOWER HALL, HALI PAD, KUFRI, INDIRA TOURIST PARK, MINI ZOO & FAGU VALLEY.

Day 2Shimla –Kullu- Manali (280 kms / 7 hrs)

After breakfast check out from hotel ,drive to Manali,

The name Manali literally means “The Abode of Manu.” This is how Manali came to be, according to Hindu mythology. According to Hindu mythology, he saved mankind from extinction by building a boat that helped save a few humans from the great flood that savaged the Earth. Summers see the advent of activities like zorbing and paragliding while winters see the advent of activities like skiing and snow scootering. It is the hot spot for river rafting, usually done post-monsoon season when the rapids are high. Manali also has a number of temples that you can visit.

Day 3Manali Local sightseeing- Dharamshala.

After breakfast check out and depart to you next destination Dharamshala enroute visit to city tour. Visiting the Hidimba Devi Temple, Dedicated to Goddess Hidimba, it exudes serenity and with the views of the snow-capped mountains. The only Manu Temple in India is also located in Manali. Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar, and “VASHIST” Well known for its hot springs. There are old temples dedicated to the sage Vashisth and to Lord Rama.

Check in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel at Dharmashala.

Day 4Manali Solang Valley

Solang Valley is an all-year round attraction in Manali. During summer, you can indulge in activities like paragliding, zorbing, parachuting and even horse riding. Covered by green meadows and with the warmth of the sun, the valley looks every bit as picturesque. During winter, sports like skiing, sledging and snow scootering are available here. .Later back to hotel.evening free for leisure, overnight stay at hotel at Manali.

Day 5 Dharmashala - Macleodganj Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing of Dharamshala
Bhagunag – This temple is located at a height of 1770 m above sea level. Surrounded by beautiful pools and lush greenery.The pools around this temple are believed to be sacred and contain miraculous powers of healing. The temple was built by King Bhagsu and is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Dal lake And Naddi – Dal lake is 11 km from lower Dharamsala and lies in between hills and deodar trees. This is a starting point for trekking and excursion, which is covered around the lake to make the walk memorable.
Mcleodganj – – Dalai lama monestary- Overlooking the mountain ranges of Dhauladhar, the Namgyal Monastery is situated within the Tsuglagkhang complex. This complex also is the proud home to the residence of Dalai Lama, among various other shrines, temples, bookstores, souvenir shops etc.
St. John’s Church – This neo-gothic church was built in 1852 and is one of the most important churches in Himachal Pradesh. Located near Dharamshala and on the way to Mcleodganj, this church was built in dedication to John the Baptist.evening back to hotel hotel.overnight stay and Dinner at hotel.

Day 6Dharmashala – Kangra Fort and Chamunda Devi Temple Sightseeing

Morning after Breakfast visit to Kangra Fort, Chamunda Temple.
Kangra Fort- The Kangra Fort is located atop a hill at the confluence of Banganga and Patal Ganga river (also known as the Majhi), in the south western outskirts of the old Kangra town. The fort was built by the founder of Katoch Dynasty, Bhuma Chand and is also known by other names, Nagarkot and Kot Kangra.
Noubulinga- Norbulingka Institute was founded near Dharamshala in 1988 for preserving Tibetan culture, literature and art. The institute is named after Norbulingka, the summer residence of the Dalai Lamas in Lhasa, Tibet.
Chamunda Temple- Commonly known as Chamunda Nandikeshwar Dham, it is a famous temple of Goddess Shakti who is the goddess of power. The temple complex holds a Kund in it where devotees take a holy dip in it because it has sacred importance. However, the main deity of the temple is not accessible to the visitors as it is under cover. A cave-like scoop that is in the back of the temple has importance of being representing an embodiment of Shiva in the form of stone lingam.

Day 7 Dharmashala –Chandigarh

After breakfast check out from hotel, Later drive to Chandigarh to Airport/ Railway Station for onward destination
